As Mysuru, the ancient city in Karnataka is getting ready to host the 31st National Conference of Indian Association for Social Psychiatry, I am extremely happy to invite you all to participate in this landmark event which is going to be held from 4th to 6th November 2024.

The theme of this conference is a well thought out one: “GENERATIONAL TRANSFORMATION in 21st CENTURY- Focus on Gender, Sexuality and Relationships”. We expect experts to spark our brains on the paradigm shifting trends happening in the lives of the Gen Z population and how these changes can affect the mental health of the nation.

The organizing committee under the leadership of the very experienced organizer and academician Prof. TSS Rao are already set to bring out a big feast, not only on the academic avenue, but also in the cultural part too. Mysuru, hosting the NCIASP for the second time is eagerly awaiting your presence and participation.

We are thrilled to announce that the 31st National Conference of the Indian Association for Social Psychiatry (NCIASP) will take place from 4th to 6th November 2024 at JSS Medical College, Mysuru. This year's theme, "Generational Transformation in the 21st Century: Focus on Sexuality, Gender and Relationships," promises to inspire thoughtful discussions and groundbreaking insights. The conference will feature a wide range of sessions, including the presidential address, invited lectures, symposiums,award papers, and free paper/poster presentations.


We invite you to actively participate by submitting abstracts, symposium proposals, or nominations for the IASP awards. Your presence and contributions will enrich the discussions and help shape the future of social psychiatry. Mysuru, often referred to as the "Cultural Capital of Karnataka," is a city steeped in history, art, and heritage. Located in southern India, it is known for its royal palaces, gardens, and temples.
